Terms of Service
The agreement between your business and us when you use Pakka.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. Who we are
Pakka is provided by DK825, LLC (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between us and the business that creates a Pakka account (“you”). They cover the Pakka website, app and any related services (together, “Pakka”).
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Pakka, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you accept on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. You must be at least 18 and using Pakka for your trade or business, not as a consumer.
3. Your account and your business
- Give accurate business details — name, address, GSTIN and registration type — and keep them up to date. They are printed on your bills.
- Keep passwords and sign-in codes private. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by staff you invite and devices you register.
- Give staff only the roles they need, and remove access when someone leaves.
- Tell us straight away at sales@dk825.com if you suspect anyone has misused your account.
4. Plans, fees and payment
Pakka is currently offered free of charge while it is in early access. Before any paid plan applies to you, we will publish its price and give you at least 30 days’ notice; you can choose not to continue. Paid plans, when introduced, will be billed in advance, prices will be shown with GST, and we will issue a GST invoice. Fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires or we say otherwise in writing.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Pakka to:
- issue fake, inflated or back-dated invoices, or to evade tax or claim input tax credit you are not entitled to;
- break any law, including GST, consumer-protection and data-protection law;
- store or send unlawful, infringing or harmful content;
- try to reach another business’s data, probe or overload the service, or get around its limits or security;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer Pakka, or build a competing product from it.
6. Your data and content
Your business records belong to you. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, process and display them only to provide and secure Pakka for you. You can export your records at any time while your account is open. How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy; for personal data about your customers, suppliers and staff, we process it on your behalf and on your instructions.
7. Tax and compliance
Pakka helps you prepare GST-compliant bills, returns and files, but it is a tool, not tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for:
- the HSN or SAC codes, GST rates, prices and place of supply on your bills;
- checking returns, e-way bill files and reports before you file or upload them;
- filing on time, paying tax due, and keeping records for as long as the law requires.
We keep GST rates and rules in Pakka up to date with reasonable care, but cannot guarantee they reflect every notification on the day it is issued. Bills read from a scanned supplier bill are suggestions — check them before you save. Ask a qualified tax professional when in doubt.
8. Offline use and your devices
Pakka lets you bill without internet; bills made offline are saved on the device and sent to our servers when it reconnects. Until then, they exist only on that device, so do not clear the browser’s data or discard a device with unsent bills on it. Keep devices you use for Pakka locked and up to date.
9. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep Pakka available at all times, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may improve, change or remove features. If we remove a feature you rely on in a paid plan, we will give you reasonable notice. We may also stop offering Pakka altogether; if we do, we will give at least 60 days’ notice so you can export your records.
10. Our intellectual property
Pakka, its software, design and the Pakka name belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Pakka for your business while your account is open — nothing more. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
11. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time by writing to sales@dk825.com. We may suspend or close an account if it breaks these terms, puts other users or the service at risk, or if the law requires it. Except in urgent cases, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. After closure, we keep or delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy; export your records before closing.
12. Disclaimers
Pakka is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business, or penalties or interest arising from your tax filings;
- our total liability for all claims relating to Pakka is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and ₹5,000.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud.
14. Indemnity
You will compensate us for losses and reasonable costs arising from a third-party claim caused by your breach of these terms, your misuse of Pakka, or the content and records you enter into it.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute informally — write to sales@dk825.com. If it is not resolved within 30 days, it will be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Hyderabad, Telangana, conducted in English. Subject to that, the courts at Hyderabad have exclusive jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for material changes tell you in the app or by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Pakka after that means you accept the new terms.
17. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it to a successor of our business. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Pakka.
